What a perfect location for a fall wedding! Nicole and Jay got married
yesterday at Brooksby Farm in Peabody MA. The colorful leaves, the
chill in the air, the smell of warm apple cider, the pumpkin
centerpieces, and of course, the barn-all came together to create a
very unique, memorable and rustic New England wedding.
Nicole's father walking her down the aisle with the barn in the background.
The groomsmen all wore an elegant brown pinstripe tux. It really looked good and was perfect for the fall theme.
I have never seen a cake topper this original before! A polaroid of the couple and two smurfs. It was in keeping with the centerpieces which also featured polaroids of the couple, dressed in a 1970's powder blue tux and wedding dress, holding table numbers! Very clever and they really portrayed the couple's personalities!
Pumpkins with hearts carved in them decorated the head table.
Nicole really wanted to show off her blue stockings! What better way than piggy back ride!
The staff at the farm cooked an amazing meal featuring ham and mashed potatoes. It tasted like a home cooked meal for the holidays. Everything ran on schedule which left plenty of time for dancing!
Thank you Nicole and Jay for a truly memorable day!

This wedding went by so fast! John and Maria were great, the country club was great, the priest was great and the weather was great-everything went so smoothly!
John and Maria seeing each other for the first time. A lot of my brides, this time of year, are choosing to take the formal pictures before the ceremony while it is still light out. I am still able to get the image of the couple when they first see each other, even if it isn't when the bride is coming down the aisle.
This shot was inspired by the couple I photographed the week before, Christine and Pat. It worked so well for them that I thought I'd try it again. I like seeing the train of the dress but with a modern twist.

Brooke is the daughter of a couple whose wedding I photographed two years ago. The photo shoot took place at the New Castle Common beach.
It is fantastic to be able to photograph the couple's wedding and then their family through the years and to develop that bond, not only with the couple, but with their children. It is one of the many perks of my career.
I can't wait to see Brooke again, and be able to document the different stages of her development.
Thank you Theresa, for the opportunity to photograph your beautiful little girl. Maybe the next time your pregnant we can do some pregnancy portraits!
Christine & Pat are high school sweethearts, been together 10 years before they finally tied the knot!
I have photographed quite a few high school sweethearts this season. I always find it fascinating when a couple, for the most part, grows up together before getting married.
This is my favorite portrait of the couple. It shows their
personalities, their affection for each other and the train of the
dress, all with real smiles. The angle gives it an edgy, modern feel.
Both my assistant and I had a lot of fun with them.
I truly enjoyed photographing this couple. They were very fun and relaxed in front of the camera.
I didn't see the bride that day until she arrived for the ceremony. It is unusual for me not to photograph the bride getting ready but I'm sure she had a house full of people being one of 8 children (with 4 of those siblings sisters) and 9 nieces and nephews!
Yet another flower girl/niece and ring bearer/nephew, trying to see the bride as she approaches the alter.
Here is Christine's sister's, Jennifer's, second child-ADORABLE!! I LOVE photographing kids!
We took the formal pictures in a park in Wellesley MA, right off Route 9. It was a beautiful fall day.
This is an image of Christine and Pat with Christine's parents and 7 siblings. They all look so different!
The wedding party.
This is my second favorite portrait of Christine & Pat. A captured moment.
The band, Night Shift (fantastic band, by the way) brings these red lights. I LOVE this picture of the cake with the red light hitting it.

Christine & Pat, welcome home from your honeymoon. I can't wait for you to see your online album and the rest of your pictures on Pictage.
