Yesterday I photographed the wedding of Stephanie and Matt. I haven't looked at all the images yet, but thought I post a few for the couple to enjoy before leaving for their honeymoon.
I started at the brides suite at the Wentworth Hotel, to photograph her getting ready.
They took a chartered bus to the church, which was just a few minutes away. Stephanie had both her father's walk her down the aisle. Here is an image of them standing at the alter just after her dads gave here away.
The guys aren't so bad either.
Here are some of my favorite portraits of Stephanie and Matt-the fog rolled in making for beautiful images.
I really like photographing couples here at the bridge of the country club. It's nice to get away from the crowds of people but also to get photographs in a different setting.
Inside the reception tent was BEAUTIFUL! Every detail was thought of.
Nick- I can totally see him as the next teen heart throb! Now that he has some awesome head shots-watch out Robert Pattinson!
Susan & Tim, two of the happiest people I have ever met!
We LOVED them!
Here is Susan getting ready.
First dance-look at the expression on Susan's face-she is still just as excited as she was during the ceremony.
Little Vienna Marie-11 days old!!!
She is so beautiful! She is the first born child of one of my favorite couples-Eve and Marc. I photographed their wedding two years ago (check past blogs to see their wedding pictures, or go to alyssaduncan.com/eve&marc to see their online wedding album).
I was honored to be one of the first people to meet Vienna!
I could have just starred at her all day.
She doesn't seem to mind being woken up by her daddy!
Here are some images from Katherine & Nicholas's wedding. We had so much fun photographing them-and I think they had fun too!
I like to get children going down the aisle from behind. I like to see the peoples reactions but also the child always looks so small against the grand back drop of the church.
This next image was taken after the ceremony as they are leaving the church. It is their first moment alone since they became husband and wife.
I LOVE THIS IMAGE-they are just arriving at Groveland Fairgrounds. I love the color, I love that Katherine is not centered but just a bit to the left, I love the expression on her face. It's just cool.
They did something with the cake I've never seen before in over 10 years of photographing weddings,
but, from what I understand, it is a common tradition i the south. It's called a "cake pull". See the ribbons coming out of the cake? After the bride and groom cut the cake the bridesmaids gather around, each taking a ribbon and pull. There is a charm at the end of each ribbon that represents a fortune (like a fortune cookie). It was very neat.
They rented a photo booth for their guests from Boston Photo Booth Rental. EVERYONE loved it!
