Saturday was just gorgeous, perfect weather, perfect setting and a fantastic couple!
Kayla was a stunning bride and the Stevens Estate has a remarkable bridal suite that makes for some great photo opportunities.
The bridal suite overlooks the grounds where the ceremony takes place, so it is easy to look out to see if everyone has arrived.
Kayla waits for Jeff. Seeing each other for the first time is always fun to set up, then we did the bridal party formals before the ceremony so the couple could enjoy some of their cocktail hour.
We had the bride, groom and bridal party make the trek to this GIANT, beautiful tree on the grounds. I have been here several times and this is the first time I have ever seen this tree.
Ok-cool shoes or what?
The ceremony starts-Kayla's brother, Zach (dark hair, in the back) did the brides hair AND sung during the ceremony and the reception! He did an amazing job and it added another personal touch to an already intimate wedding. Kayla's uncle performed the ceremony.
After the ceremony we photographed the couple and had SO much fun! These trees provided the perfect feel for "fairy tale" wedding portraits.
Kayla and Jeff wanted to be photographed against the brick wall before I even suggested it. LOVE THAT! You know if there is brick, I need to photograph someone on them!
Jeff got a bit jealous that Kayla was getting all the attention so . . . 🙂
Again, LOVE the shoes! Minolos and Chuck Taylors-perfect!
After the portraits, Kayla is bustled, hair redone and SHOES changed . . .
Congratulations Kayla and Jeff!
Sarah and Alan managed to throw the most AMAZING backyard wedding this past Saturday, on a tight budget, by bartering with many of their vendors (Alan is a an amazing carpenter and painter) and selecting decor, party favors and seating that went with their down home theme.
Below was my favorite decoration, I just LOVE the sentimental touch that all the old family pictures added to the atmosphere of the evening.
The flowers and centerpieces were kept beautifully simple . . .
and what a clever way to number the tables . . .
with a cake tower to match!
The ceremony took place under a beautiful tree with hay bales for seating.
I had a blast photographing Alan and Sarah's portraits.
They had the best time during their first dance.
The image below was taken when Alan told his mom what song he chose for their mother/son dance.
Sarah shares a special dance with her daughter.
FANTASTIC JOB GUYS!! CONGRATULATIONS!
Yesterday's wedding at Hidden Hills in Rindge NH was beautiful!
Doing the formals ahead of time allowed us to choose the ideal location for Jamie and Derrick to see each other for the first time.
Below is their first family portrait as husband and wife!!
This is my favorite image from the whole day! Xavier showing me a cricket while the rest of the family is waiting to have their portrait taken.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the bridesmaids bouquets! Very cool!
All the details were so well thought out-cool favors.
The bridesmaids had these bags made. There is an image of each one of them, with their names and "team bride 6.30.12". What a great way to make a bride feel special!
They had a super fun photobooth that EVERYONE enjoyed!
Sparklers for the kids . . .
. . . and adults.
right in the middle of the dance floor looks like a good place to take a rest.
Congratulations Jamie and Derrick!!
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Renee and Jen's wedding. It was honor to be there since it was such a small ceremony-just the couple, the JP and me! There will, however, be a much grander ceremony abroad. I hope to have the honor of being at that one as well 🙂
They were both soooo nervous and excited. It was quite emotional.
I love this picture-sheer joy!
Thank you guys, for allowing me to be part of your very special day.
